Grandma Bean’s Sausage Stuffing

  • 1 ½ lbs Bean’s Breakfast Sausage Patties
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 12 oz Kellogg’s Stuffing Mix
  • 2 cups hot water

Cook the sausage patties and apples over medium heat, stirring and mashing with a fork until the sausage is cooked. Add the celery, onion & parsley and cook until they are soft. Add the stuffing mix, stir well, then add the water. Let sit for 5 minutes.

Use to stuff a large turkey, or cook in a buttered dish covered with foil at 325°for 45-60 minutes.
