BEAN'S MAPLE SAUSAGE SUPPER

lb Maple Sausage Patties

1/2 cups cabbage, coarsely chopped
2
apples, peeled & cut in small pieces
2
carrots, grated
1/2
cup onion, coarsely chopped
1
cup water
salt
and pepper
Brown
the sausage in a large skillet, breaking up a bit. Add the onions and cook
for 2-3 minutes. Add the cabbage, carrots and water. Cover and cook
on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the apples and cook 3 minutes
more. Cook uncovered on high until the water is almost gone. Add
salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the sausage and serve.
